SocialAgent.ia ("we", "our", or "the Service") is an AI-powered social media automation platform that connects your Google Drive content to your Facebook and Instagram business accounts. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide the Service:

• Account credentials: Facebook and Instagram OAuth tokens (page-level access tokens) to publish on your behalf. We never store your Facebook password.
• Google Drive access: Read-only access to the Google Drive folder you specify, used solely to retrieve media files for publishing.
• Business information: Name, service area, business description, and language preferences you provide when creating an account in the platform.
• Usage logs: Records of published posts including file names, post copy, timestamps, and publish results. These are stored to display your publishing history.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate and publish content to your connected Facebook Page and Instagram Business Account.
• To generate AI-written captions using your business context (processed via Groq API; no data is stored by the AI provider beyond the request).
• To display your publishing history and account activity within the dashboard.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.

3. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with the following third parties, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Meta (Facebook & Instagram): Publishing is performed via the Meta Graph API under your authorized permissions.
• Google: Drive files are accessed via the Google Drive API using the API key and OAuth credentials you authorize.
• Groq: AI caption generation is processed through Groq's API. Prompts include your business description and media metadata but no personally identifiable information beyond what you explicitly provide.
• Vercel: The platform is hosted on Vercel, which may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, request metadata) as part of its infrastructure.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data and publishing logs for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 7). Access tokens are stored encrypted and rotated in accordance with Meta's platform policies.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage of access tokens and HTTPS for all data in transit. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

7. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To request deletion of your data, please visit our Data Deletion Request page or contact us directly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
